new to javascript

ive just started learning javascript and i am looking at making a little program but im having trouble getting started. pretty much what i want to do is put in numbers and then have them visible and list underneath. then i want to add them up. so i want it to roughly look like

enter number to add to list
[ 10 ]
10
6
9
235


[press to add] = [ ]

roughly. im up to suggestion i guess. i've tried googling arrays and to find examples but nothing for me to play around with and understand even to "learn backwards " with a code that works with what i want and then to look at it and understand how this is this and that .

anyways id really appreciate some help and id be very greatful

As a general rule, the people helping out in this forum don't write code for others (especially code that appears to be for homework), but try to help with fixing code that doesn't work. You may perhaps get someone to write this script for you, but you'll be far more likely to get help if you have made a substantial effort and written some code yourself. Then someone here will almost certainly help you correct/improve your work.

as much as i would expect that , i am also new and i am trying to understand. its not that i expect someone to type out a whole lot of code for me but even just hints or sites that they could recommend or any form of positive advice. its not like i am going to get someone to write code and then take it as my own.

id pretty much find that some what insulting to be honest.
