Question Re-installing Updated Script

I have a social network script that I installed in Dec. I am having the database customized. If I install the new customized script, will that delete the members I already have in the old database and will it affect the graphics and other changes I've made?

As you've provided us no details on what the script is, what it does, how the new isntall works, or basically anything, all I can say is: maybe.

I bought an open script from Iscripts.com called Socialware. had them customize the database and install it to my server. I have another contractor working on graphic changes. You can look at the homepage of my website at mybeedz.com. Thanks for your help.
