Lightbulb New Website for Review

Hi guys.

I'd like you to comment and critique on www[dot]freevirtuemartthemes[dot]com

It's relatively new website, so I'm open to your fair suggestions in order to make it better. So what do you think?

Thank you in advance

Hello,

I have a few suggestions.

#1. The color scheme is very dark. It's hard to read and bad on the eyes.

#2. In the slider, there is small dots (orange is active), being all black it blends completely in with the background, change to white.

#3. All the content is like scattered. Setup the div's or tables with either backgrounds, or borders. Separate them.

#4. It appears to be a fixed width. It's showing a scroll bar on my screen at 1024 X 768. So I have to slide to the right to read content. You probably designed it for wide screen. I suggest making it 1024 X 768 because that would suit most users.

I hope these suggestions are helpful.

1. The Font on top for "Free VirtueMart Themes" looks a bit boring.
2. I have to scroll to the right to read the text in the box. (maybe width minus ~ 50px)

what can you advise me to make that wording a bit catchy? are you suggesting to chage the font completely and apply more original one?

you're right, i haven't even considered that option, so probably I'll redo the color of those dots

hmm, will think about that...it's a good idea, will position the content on boxes or frames

yeah, that's true, it was designed for wide screens; as for making it smaller, don't know...anyway that's a good suggestion to consider about.

I looked your websites, i have some suggestions

1) Background colour should be changed so that we can read the content of your websites clearly and use good looking font.
2)reduce Too much picture and set some animated button in side bar.
3)place the slide show at the top of the page.

I agree with:
1. Make the titles stand out more. Make them as graphics so you can stylize them rather than choosing another font.
2. Make the dots stand out more.
3. It only looks cluttered because there needs to be more defined borders between content. I wouldn't change the amount of content because I think it's a subliminal thing.

I like the color scheme and don't think it should be made lighter. There isn't a lot of reading on the site and the focus is on the images anyway.

Thank you guys for your honest opinions
I see that your thoughts are almost about the same, that's why I should focus my attention on certain things, such as font change, choosing a bit other color combination, as well as framing the blocks with suggested themes. Will take that into consideration!!! Thanks again.
