Programming an Aggregate Site

I need a basic estimate on programming a site that would function like travelocity.com or priceline.com.

This build would not need to grab as many rates as these sites, but the idea is the same.

What is the difficulty in programming something like this? General price to accomplish this?

Thanks!

Are you looking to work in the travel industry specifically, or are you looking to mimick the functionality of priceline in a different market?

Either way, you should probably put together a better, more defined, scope of work for the project to get reliable estimates. Licensing fees alone in the travel segment can run into the tens of thousands of dollars.

What type of budget do you have for this concept?

Looking more to the functionality of this type of site for a different market.

No idea on the budget seeing as this is in the early stages, just trying to research the possibilities and limitations.

To be more specific, it would function as travelocity does, only it would be grabbing far less "rates" than the travel websites do. I could get into specifics but fear revealing the details of this idea.

Talking from a purely programming standpoint, what would an extremely general dollar amount be to build something of this nature?
