I'm on the last leg of my website
before it's transferring servers. But this last leg might be one of the greatest hurdles.
I'm currently using supersized
for the fullscreen image background (for whatever reason it doesn't work in ie but that's a different topic).
I've never programmed in JS before but it'd be nice if anyone could point me in the right direction to make this happen. (I have a basic understanding of other programming languages)
On the home page
I'd like the background to pick a random image from a pool and show them in a slideshow (with no navigation bar). like this
On every page but the pages that include 'project' in their url
, I'd like the background to be picked from a random pool of images. like this
On each specific project page
, I'd like the background to pick a specific pool of images (maybe images that include a part of the project name) and show that as a slideshow with a navigation bar. similar to this
Is there a way that I can add into the JS different conditional statements to make this happen? I'm thinking if it could search the url for keywords in the expression that might work, but I'm not really sure how to go about it.
