Post IE7 bug - misalignment of floated divs

This probably has something to do with width or improper use of floats. I have already began discussing this on another thread but because the original problem I posted about was resolved I am making this one to be organized.

The website is http://www.whitehillenergy.com (I am doing this page as a family favor)

Any ideas why the logo is dropping a level below? Is this due to width or improper handling of floats?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Try this:

Code:
.nav UL.nav {
       /*width: 710px;*/
}

In what way? The image gallery appears to be the same for me in IE7, 8 and 9 and FF.

It appears to be pulled out of the div, I see a black background where the slideshow usually appears with the slideshow lifted off of it.

Thats how it looked to me before. I thought maybe you wanted it that way.

You can add some top margin to your slider-item style. 50px seems to work when I tried it.

Wait, are you telling me you can actually try these things out with firebug? Yeah that worked perfectly! Thanks!

By the way, do I set these threads to resolved or do I wait for a mod to do it?

Yes firebug. You can edit the source code, pick a specific element to view the html and css and much more. btw. not sure if its your script or a setting in my firefox, but it throws a js error.

You can mark solved. Edit your original post and I think go advanced and the drop down gives the option to mark resolved.
