I-Phone App download

I am currently building an I-Phone App which is educational, free and intended for medical students at the local universities and hospitals and has been commissioned by one of the university professors.

The application that I am using to build the App results in files which can be sent to I-Phones from the development program but are not Apple AppStore compatible.

Is it possible to deliver my I-Phone App from my own website to the I-Phone of anyone who visits the website?

I have been building websites for over 12 years and just need some code to deliver an app to the I-Phone when someone clicks on a link from their I-Phone.

Can anyone help with this please?.
