Joomla: adding files to a user account

Hi guys,

I wanted to be able to upload files in the backend and associate them with particular users (not user groups) and then people log into the front end and download them, but only the files which are associated with their account.

Any ideas appreciated!

Check out DOCMan, its a bit dated but still probably the best for this kind of thing.

You might also consider K2, as it could be used for this I believe.
