shrinking SWF in HTML

I am working on inserting a swf into an html page. This works just fine in Firefox, but when I view the page in IE9, there is a white line at the bottom of the animation. It looks like the swf shrank by one pixel leaving this line. Maybe this is a setting on my browser, so maybe not everyone will see the same thing here. I have been playing around with the params of the swf and the css, but nothing seems to eliminate the line.

Much appreciation if someone could take a look and offer some suggestions:
