To all thread starters, check your "pm" box for responses, as that's how bidders will be communicating with you mainly using. You can turn on new pm notification by going to "User CP"-> "Edit Options"-> "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages".
To respondents, avoid replying to a thread with a short generic response like "pm sent" as much as possible. It is pointless and clutters up the screen.
To respondents, don't reply to a work request with a summary of your resume. If you're not willing to spend the time to at least read the request and respond specifically to the request, then don't reply. The Web Projects forum isn't a place to get your resume/ portfolio posted on as many threads as possible, it's for the direct, human interaction between coder and client. Members who blanket the forums with their resume replies will be treated as spammers and banned.
To all thread starters, please update your thread's prefix to "resolved", when you've found a coder for your project or partnership (or wish to terminate the request). This is so coders don't waste time bidding on an invalid project. To do this, click on the "Edit" button under the first post of the thread, then the "Go Advanced" button. You have 14 days to update your thread's title.
lately, I´ve been searching for someone to code a program for the game "Battlefield Bad Company 2" for me. Short descritption of the program:
My program should be able to generate virtual players for this game. These players are needed to get the server running fine. I am in possesion of a program performing exactly this task, just for Battlefield 2. I would send the person coding this program for me the bf2 programm. In fact, my coder should just "update" the bf2 program so it works for bad company 2 as well.
Depending on its language sure. I've played bf since the day 1942 was released but only have bf:bc2 on xbox. So I really doubt I'll be able to do it but I can at least look at it. My email is same as my yahooid
From what I interpret, the request is to inject content into the server itself, which would indicate that every other client would interact with that content. This is in violation of EA's general terms of service (which therefore is in violation of our TOS). Can you provide an official link indicating that this request you have made is allowed by the TOS of the developer?

Impersonate another person (including celebrities), indicate falsely that you are an EA employee or a representative of EA, or attempt to mislead users by indicating that you represent EA or any of EA's partners or affiliates.
Attempt to get a password, account information, or other private information from anyone else on EA Services.
Upload any software or Content that you do not own or have permission to freely distribute.
Promote or encourage any illegal activity including hacking, cracking or distribution of counterfeit software.
Upload files that contain a virus or corrupted data.
Post messages for any purpose other than personal communication, including advertising or promotional messaging, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or other commercial activities.
Improperly use in-game support or complaint buttons or make false reports to EA staff.
Use or distribute "auto" software programs, "macro" software programs or other "cheat utility" software program or applications.
Modify any part of the EA that EA does not specifically authorize you to modify.
Post or communicate any player's real-world personal information using an EA Service.
Attempt to interfere with, hack into or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers for an EA Service.
Use and communicate exploits to gain unfair advantage in a game
Attempt to use EA Software on or through any service that is not controlled or authorized by Electronic Arts.
Interfere with the ability of others to enjoy playing an EA Service or take actions that interfere with or materially increase the cost to provide an EA Service for the enjoyment of all its users.
This is why if I have properly interpreted your request, it is in violation of the EA TOS.
Unless I have grossly misinterpreted your request than we will need to see official documentation from EA stating what you are looking to do is not in violation of their TOS.
