input fields different size in IE (all versions)

there is no padding in my input fields only in IE, all other browsers look the way they are suppose too. can anyone help? padding is set to 2px

nevermind! somehow when i changed my height property in my wrapper div from height: auto !important; to height:0 auto !important. Not only did this fix my input fields, but it fixed the rest of my discrepencies!! weird how that works!
