Accessing an active directory from Flex

Hi,

My main server is JBoss on Linux server. UI is flex and using webservices to pull data. I do not want any login page. The url when accessed should be autheticated based on the user who logged in and they want this authentication to be done from Flex. Is there a way i can do this.

One proposal is having all the allowed users added to the active directory and flex checks the active directory and display the app for those users who are in and display a restricted page for the users who are not in the active directory. I am not sure how this can be done alone from flex. Any suggestions please??

Thanks,

saha
