Hmm, I don't know if you would consider this convenient or not, but all you have to do is place a transform on whatever frame you want the text to change color. Change the duration of this transform to however long you want the text to stay at a certain color and then change the color setting at the bottom of the transform window.

I haven't used swish in a LONG time, so hopefully I am not giving you false information
