The general purpose is to showcase the company of Academy Studios - what they create, and their corporate culture.
To answer some questions here:
1. I did not design the old site. This was done before my time, so I can't vouche for why they did what they did. I just want to know what doesn't work and what you recommend.
2. The redesign I posted is not meant to be a guide as the final design -- that was purely a sample to show how the code can be improved upon -- where we create the XHTML semantically correct, and use all presentation seamless CSS. Don't use this as a target -- in fact, I think I'll delete the link from the original.
That being said, I agree with you 100% allida77
I think a new way of thinking needs to develop as to what this site needs to accomplish. It should be less of a basic info of the company, and more a marketing presentation of what they do.
