User Input for an old site -- what do you and don't you like?

http://www.academystudios.com

This is an older site that my company had designed before my time -- currently I am in the stages of redesign. A new site will be XHTML 100%tableless, CSS positioning -- so please don't post about the code, believe me, I know

What I would like to know is what you don't like, and what you do like about this older site. Many people strongly dislike it, many love it.
How do you feel about the overall look? The images? The color Scheme? The Navigation (not only look, but functionality)?

What would keep you visiting? Current articles written from our designers? A blog about the industry and techniques? Interactive animation of the processes and walk throughs of the museums?

Feel free to let go -- the more rough and in-depth you are, the better we have to make a site that is not only accessible to all users, but enjoyable to boot.

Please also add any ideas that I have not listed, which you think would be cool to have, or need to be dropped.

Thanks to everyone who posts -- your help won't go unnoticed, and I'll do what I can to promote your ideas, and your talents. You'll get a nice special link and blurb on my home site when I have it completed in the next week or so for this one
