Per popular request, I have created a 2-part series of videos documenting how to install my free YouTube-to-Mp3 converter software. I start with only a fresh installation of Ubuntu 12.04, and then proceed to install all required packages and dependencies required for the script to run. Finally, I install and configure the script, and I demonstrate its functionality.
Note: I chose Ubuntu 12.04 because I am most familiar with it, and it is arguably the easiest Linux version to configure for my software.
FYI - This installation guide overlaps installation/configuration steps required for the paid-for version of my software as well. So, you can also use these videos as a general guide for installing/configuring the paid-for version.
I hope this helps those of you who are new to Linux, or those uncomfortable configuring the server and installing the software without some kind of guide/tutorial.
