I know it's kinda a difficult question to understand and wonder WHY WOULD THIS KID WANNA DO THAT?!!!? but it's for sure the only route i have. hasClass() won't work cause i don't know what class I'm getting! .. i do know that the class will always end with "_start" or "_stop" so when I achieve getting JUST the class name then I can do a
hasClass($myclass); it's getting to that point thats the problem.
I basically want to do something like this
$('div').attr('class').split(' ').pop(/\_start$/) // for start
but pop() doesn't accept any parameters and I don't know how to code it
