PDF plugins for IE and FF - issue?
Hello, everyone.
I've been on CF for a while, but I think this is the first time I've ever wandered into the Graphics/MM area.
Hello.
I have a bit of a conundrum that I hope someone can help me with.
On our internal network we have over 1,000 PDF files that contain hyperlinks. These PDFs were created using the PDFMaker plugin for Word 2007. Whenever someone opens a PDF in IE8, these hyperlinks work. However, when FireFox is used, the PDF Plugin for FF10 does NOT automatically parse the FQDN into a hyperlink. Apparently, in order for hyperlinks to work in FF10, the Word documents have to be edited to include the hyperlink code, itself.
We really cannot edit over 1k .doc(x) files, searching for FQDNs to "upgrade". Is there a better Adobe PDF Plugin for FF that will automatically parse links? Or does anyone have a better solution?
Thank you,
