@Arbitrator Thanks for the help. It seems that calc() doesn't quite function well enough to actually be implemented (i tried in Firefox and Chrome, neither had it work). I suppose I'm just going to have to deal with the space that is between the two div's and leave it at that.
I'm not quite sure why I would want to put my twitter feed on the left side of the page. It's a portfolio website and content is king. There should be a heavy emphasis on the work I've done.
