Does your table have a proper structure? IE is very sensitive about that

<table>
 <thead>
  <tr><th></th>...</tr>
  ...
 </thead>
 <tbody>
  <tr><td></td>...</tr>
  ...
 </tbody>
</table>

with thead being optional, tbody is mandatory!
