I have tried all of the above but although windows 7 does find the hard drive which is a plug in external hard drive it will not let me format it as it says it can not read the disc it says in...

there are some encrypted email sites on the web like hushmail i think you have to pay a subscription but this way all your mail will be protected

I have a external hard drive error in windows 7 my hard drive is in read only and i can not find a way to make it so can format the disc i have tried all the usual methods a try to change it from...
