    UK based PHP Developer

    Hello,

I'm looking for a UK PHP developer to help contribute to a game I'm building. Before agreeing to the project or discussing the project, you will need to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

I really don't want no time-wasters. This is a serious project, and a project that will benefit both myself and my partner (you) greatly.

The game, is based a text-based game, which will involve a user signing up, playing against other real life users. The coding will involve attack, defense scripts, rank scripts, market place script, building and building army ect.

However, this is where it may get complicated, I want to allow the player to sign-up from the home page. Once the player enters the home page, and they're signed-up, they see a content management system, which will explain the game, features, community, resources, blog and about the game page, with login, sign-up and help.

The home page will contain, all the "usual" CSS slider of ingame screen-shots, social media buttons, latest blog articles from both the administration blog and community blog.

Once signed-in, they'll have a public member profile, all the usual, first name, picture, blog posts (if contributed)

Once they're signed in they can click, join-game (signin) and go to the game itself and play, check rankings ect ect.

Forum wil also share the same database and will be bespoke, and within the forum, the forum will tell other players what alliance and alliance status the player has ect pretty much average forum, expect it wont be an already opensource forum.

If you think you can manage this, message me with how long you could take to code this if you were by yourself so I get an idea how fast you could work.

    We'll then discuss the future

As a developer, what would compel me to join your team and donate my time and talent? What would be the reason to do that rather than put my effort into my own projects?

What do you mean "the game, is based a text-based game" ? A text-based game what kind of screenshots could have?? And where is the complexity of the login system? It's a matter of authentication and cookies, handled by every application server your developer will use (php .net or whatever)

What you describe is about a month of work (intro screen/authentication/game gallery/forum etc) but not the game itself as you didn't say anything about it.

And as Fumigator said, what you have to offer to the developer?

Great points made here, i don't wish to discuss the actual game.

Their is good compensation packets. But this needs to be discussed after the NDA has been signed.

You can't discuss compensation until a (worthless and unenforceable) NDA is signed? That's.... weird.... what part of a compensation package could you possibly disclose that might compromise your project? The fact you aren't actually going to pay your developer?

Sure send it to me, I'll sign it.

I am interested also, especially about that text-based idea of yours. Please send me the NDA as well.

Well - I can assure you I will be paying the development team. However why would I discuss a payment package on a public forum? If I charge you very little say 15 per hour or I might want you to really be motivated and pay you 30 an hour.

However by discussing this on a public forum will most likely reflect the company. Which I do not wish to happen.

There also a compensation package and a big bonus package.
