    Do you believe me?

I am looking for a programmer and designer to work with me and my idea. I do not have the money to pay for them. Their investment would be in the idea. Contact me only if you're serious. I promise I am worth looking in to.

    Thank you

First, you're wrong. You just did. Secondly, I can find a programmer and designer. They're a dime a dozen. Good luck with your sign business. Are you using printed materials?

Yes much of it is printed. Now back to this. I am not trying to be negative. It's just you don't list anything about the project, what it is, the long term marketing, will it be a free website or cost money, what experience do you have, are you putting any money into it?

    Please follow what this says.

I appreciate your input. I can't say exactly what the idea is though. That would be giving it away. I understand that's necessary information for a developer or anyone else who is interested in working on this. So, if I receive serious inquires then I will be more than happy to discuss the idea with them personally. Of course, I am open to suggestions regarding this.

What I will do is exactly everything else you said. Currently I am too busy to write everything up. It's my birthday. But sometime next week I will post the logistics of the idea. Including the programming, design, and amount of money it will take to make this a reality. I will also cover the marketing plan, projected revenue, competitors, cost, and how everything will play out over the next 20 years. I will get in depth but only so far. Lastly, I will include my experience.

I'm always open to suggestions regarding anything. So again, thanks for your advice.

I am glad you are taking this positive as I've meant it. Looking forward to see your layout and business plan of it. Don't be afraid to post what it is. Like if you're making a copy of facebook, craigslist, google, etc. No one is going to jump on here and be like omg why didn't I think of that? There is thousands of people out there making copies of the major websites. But they generally all fail. So you have to produce a better product, better customer service, and of course have business smarts.

ryan, you only need to danggle a few carrots to get the right coders for the job..."programmer and designer"...you don't need to post your complete idea.

    1. What coding languages do you intend on using? Php, MySQL, Javascript, JQuery etc.?
    2. Is this a members only site that needs login access to a memebers area? If so what options will be needed? Forums, listings, private messaging systems etc.?

Answerinf these two questions will send you more prospects than your initial posting. Some individuals prefer coding member sites while others just like making website designs. Then you have the occasional individual that like to do both if time is available.

amount of money it will take to make this a reality.
Does this mean you expect the developer to pay for the idea?

The problem with posting that stuff is that they are projections (possible scenarios of what might, could happen) that may be good to obtain a bank or small business loan but unless you can project why your website would actually fail, everthing else can change according to circumstance.

Adding your experience is probably what would matter the most. It shows what you bring to the table in order to make your idea a reality. Someone who believes in your idea and knows what you can and can't handle can push you toward possibilities you never thought of in your projections. In this way you can split up the tasks and achieve things faster. Anyway dangle the carrots!

Just because it hasn't came does not mean it's not coming. Do you shortcut your shortcakes?
