    PHP idea factory partnership

    Fellow programmers
I saw few threads on this forum about partnership in website building that didn't have proper business model or vague explanation of the idea.
After active members lounge thread about that certain topic, i used domain that i bought recently in order to start this idea.

Basicly i created www.phpifactory.com domain to try and solve that problem. I would like to build PHP OOP powered system that will help programers sell their scripts.

Idea is to connect lot's of php modules, that are programmed in object oriented PHP scripting language.

Communication from database and server is solved with PHP XML generated files so that it can easily be exchangeable between scripts.

There are two scripts for sale now. I programed both of them. If you want to participate, I can send you those scripts, and whole site sketch so that you can see what is it about.

There will be no open-source code visible on the website to ensure that scripts are somewhat more protected from hacking attempts. And if you want you could order a unique code for your website for every payment of the script.

You can contact me via www.phpifactory.com website do discuss price you would want to sell your script for.

it wouldn't be like hot scripts, because scripts would be made to fit existing system, and you wouldn't need to have any kind of programming skills to implement them on your website...

@oesxyl , i haven't thought much about prices, and yeah, 170$ looks a lot for contact script, but with 170$ you wouldn't get just a contact script, but the whole system, except for domain name.

so basically for 170$ you get a website with contact script already implemented.

also prices are not final yet, because i still need to calculate them, so that when everything gets paid, expenses are covered and profit is made.

php i factory is not script sharing website, like i said there will be no open-source visible on website.

only source you can get is one that you need to implement your script. and then again you don't need a source code, because you can get all the necessary information through website XML

I would also like to invest some of my hard earned money to get this party started, but i am still working on a system so that script embedding becomes even more easy.

If you have some scripts you want to embed in the system you can contact me via www.phpifactory.com website or this forum, so that we can agree about prices you want to sell your scripts for.

    Preferable scripts:
    -register script
    -user profile settings script
    -user profile home script
    -private messaging system
-text editing system similar to one on this forum

Layout of the script needs to be somewhat nice html/css coded, script needs to use PHP OOP scripting, needs to use MySQL database, and if necessary generate XML files via PHP to enable communication to other scripts available on the server.

For all information you need about your scripts use your keyboard and mouse to contact me

I really don't see how this qualifies as a partnership.

Seems like you're looking to be a middleman by allowing coders to submit scripts for sale, where you likely extract a fee (or commission, etc).

What elements of a partnership does this idea have that I am missing?

No. Simply "getting dollars for my work" does not define a partnership.

A business partnership is a venture into which 2 or more individuals or entities contribute capital (in one form or another). In exchange for such contribution, the partners share in the management and operation of the business, from which they have a reasonable expectation of profit. The equity and profit/loss sharing is prorated according to a predetermined ratio based on capital contribution and, possibly, other factors.

I don't see any of those elements in your "partnership".

Thank you for the extended explanation of partnership. Well, yeah, I'm looking for a partner for this business but this position I'm into right now, by posting business suggestions on some relatively unknown forum isn't really best way of showing off.

But it is not something i really did take seriously. I just had some dollars bought a domain, painted few drawings in shop, wrote some text i think is apropriate and created a website.

Is that investing some capital? Of course not. To start a company (here) you need to have about 2000€ or something like that.. I have that much money, and even much much more, but i am not interested into owning another company yet.

I am looking for a partner, but someone who is like me. Who doesn't take this web programming stuff seriously like you guys here, but does it because he or she enjoys it, and loves doing it. Spending merely 10 hours a month programming is enough for me.

This is not going to be some serious company with business plans, scheludes or that kind of stupid stuff. It is supposed to be fun.

It is created for people who want their websites fast, simple and cheap. For 30$ you get a full working online website, with contact script included in this promotion period.

I know by now that people like me are really rare. So if you are one of them reading this you know what to do

I wasn't trying to "show off", I was just clarifying your intent. You started this thread by calling your idea a 'partnership' and I just wanted to know if you were serious about it - most posts in this forum are.

But I guess I should have realized with all the misspellings and poor grammar on the site.

I hope you have fun with it.

Yup, it still is partnership, you are welcome to join. But it doesn't have to be partnership, you can also sell your scripts for fixed amount of cash.

Well I'm sorry about the misspelling, didn't have time to look at the text more carefully. That is one of the reasons why I would like to find someone who knows English better. Although, at the end, English grammar is least important because I hope lot's of people will buy websites and translate them into their language, which is simple to do, so if let's say Italian guy wants a website then he maybe won't even notice how lousy my English is..

Also, these comments are "made up", and when people see the opportunity of owning a website, and start asking questions, comments are gonna be changed, so my poor grammar is going to be mixed with various other grammars, and will be lot less noticeable.

I am already having fun, thanks for the good wishes.
