Yeah, but he/she probably didn't say, go search forums for somebody who's an expert in coding and get them to help you and do a good share of the project. I'm not so sure they were meaning what your interepeting it to be.

Here is a definition of looking, as in looking on the web and looking at tutorials - http://www.thefreedictionary.com/looking

Posting in a forum, asking "so can anyone help?" does not in any way come close to the definition of "looking".
If you are learning PHP, developing PHP code, or debugging PHP code, do yourself a favor and check your web server log for errors and/or turn on full PHP error reporting in php.ini or in a .htaccess file to get PHP to help you.

And why would the OP call it a school project if it wasn't?

Maybe teachers have come up with more imaginative projects - because making a database of your CD collection or a spreadsheet of your pocket money, really wasn't bring in the crowds

The OP has not been on line here since his last post in this thread - "Last Activity: 10-12-2007 05:33 PM"

I am guessing that he figured out that when an instructor assigns a project to be completed by a student, that the instructor actually intends that each student completes his own assigned work, so that the instructor can advance that individual based on how well he can do the assigned work.

Kind of the same way it works in real life (change "instructor" to "boss" and "a student" to "an employee") -

I am guessing that he figured out that when a boss assigns a project to be completed by an employee, that the boss actually intends that each employee completes his own assigned work, so that the boss can advance that individual based on how well he can do the assigned work.

wouldnt matter if it was all legit anyway, if this guy copied anyones code from the internet, then colleges / schools have a system in place that they can upload a pupils assignment via scanner and the system scans for matches. anything over 40 Matches means that the work is copied or to a large part at any rate.
