An opportunity for young wannabe professionals

I have a number of projects of various size that I need working on and I have come to the realisation that if I try to do them all myself, none of them are ever going to get done.
Its getting to that time of year where those soon to graduate are going to be thinking about jobs and I know how hard it can be to get started in the industry with no experience, commercial portfolio or references. So thats basically what I'm offering in payment, real commercial projects that you can work on in your spare time - there are no big deadlines or pressure (unless that helps you focus). Assuming you're not totally useless, I will ofcourse write glowing professional references for everyone involved. I'm also offering the benefit of my experience. You will not be alone, I will be available to help and mentor you as the project progresses so hopefully you'll learn a thing or two in the process as well as gain valuable experience working as a team and working under the guidance of a senior programmer/ project manager.

You dont have to be a student, this is open to anyone who wants to participate but obviously it will benefit those who need the experience most. I do have to make 1 limitation though, you must be over 13. This is not in any way a reflection on the skills of those under 13, it is merely a legal requirement as you will have to 'sign' an agreement to the effect that you wont take the ideas presented to you and run off with them

    I'm looking for
PHP/mySQL coders (will consider RoR too but I wont be much help with that, I'm still learnign myself)
    xHTML/CSS coders
    Designers

If you're interested, send me a PM or an email.

One other thing - good communication skills are essential

you can apply for more than one position if your skillset allows

Thanks to everyone so far who has got in touch. I'll be compiling the details for the first project by the end of the week. There is ofcourse, always room for more so just drop me an email or a PM and I'll add you to the list.

Those how have been selected for the first project will be notified soon.

Unfortunately we have more client-side coders than serverside coders so if you dont get an invite to the first project, worry not, places have been assigned on a first come first served basis and as soon as a serverside coder becomes available you'll be paired up on the next project.
