Flash 8, php & mysql - image gallery
I've not used flash for years now and I'm near enough a complete newbie to it once again. What I'm trying to do is have an image gallery which slides images onto the page like a news scroller - constant loop of the images. The info for these images will be dynamically called from mysql via php. Each of these images will, once clicked, open up a javascript popup with the full image inside.
Animation I can do, but I have no idea how to add images into flash, when I don't know the images myself - a client will be the one uploading images. Never used actionscript before (that I can remember), but I'm guessing this is what I'll be needing to use? Anyone know of any tutorials that cover this? |
Found a good place with tutorials on, I'm armed with info I need now (sorta, kinda). Just gotta put it all together now :D
Site I found bits and pieces from is: www.actionscript.org Just incase anyone else needs to know :) |
Sure it's been mentioned elsewhere, but Flashkit.com is a good resource also. has lots of example you can download the source for.
