Nice overall job, but a couple of improvements could be made.

• Flash header would look better if it was the same size as the box it is in.
• Lots of tables.
• Would look better with a sans-serif font.
• Footer is screwed up in FF.

Good colours though, and I really like the flash header :p .

great flash imagery..nice background and color scheme..you managed to pull off a nice marquee

Things that could be improved

-Fit the flash image to its box

-If your title bar is going to be so big, your content should be just as wide...the middle information seems kinda squished...

-The sidebar with the gray background is practically impossible to read..

Thanks, I will consult with the the school and see if they will allow me to make those changes (gotta love the heirarchy for making changes process time == +2 weeks)

The left navigation is *really* busy. The images on the navigation graphics make each button appear stuffed full of things. I'd like to see that more simplified.

The black background on the left and middle columns when they run out of content looks like a mistake. Maybe faux columns would cure this.

I like the photo treatment a lot. And the fact that they are randomized on reload is a nice touch. You've got a lot of announcements and, for a school site, that's important! The "posted on" dates are a subtle indication that the site is updated frequently, another important trait of a school site. Try to make those pop ups a little better, though:

How fast does this page load over a 56k connection? Is that a concern for your community?
