IE9 loading-problem with full screen slideshow (jquery)
I've got a weird problem. I've transferred the fullscreen slideshow on the javascriptkit-website ( http://www.javascriptkit.com/script/...ow/index.shtml ) to my own site. I've followed the instructions exactly. It works great when I visit the slideshow on my website with Firefox, Safari or with Internet Explorer 8, but when I visit the page with Internet Explorer 9 I have to refresh the slideshow before it works, otherwise I'm just seeing a black page. The weirdest thing is that when I visit the demo slideshow (with exactly the same code and files en images) on the javascriptkit-website it works perfectly well on Internet Explorer 9. I don't have to refresh the page before I can see the slideshow.
The adress for the slideshow on my website is: www.anjetdaanje.nl/test/demo3.htm The adress for the demo on the javascriptkit website is: http://www.javascriptkit.com/script/...eshow/demo.htm I've searched the internet. Many people have similar problems with Internet Explorer 9 and jQuery (the slideshow is written in jQuery 1.4.2). But I wonder if this a jQuery-problem or a php problem (because there is also a php-file in the slideshow). Perhaps the server which my website is on uses another php-version than the server of the javascriptkit-website? I know that "my" server uses php 5.2.17. I would be very grateful if anyone could help me. I'm not very experienced in writing php or java or jquery, so if you know the solution (and I really hope someone does) you have to spell it out for me. Many thanks in advance. |
