Name appearing in google search results
 

Hi everyone,

When I put my name into google, my name appears as one of the google search results. The web page in the results has a url similar to this:

www.site.com/subfolder/xml/sections.xml

Even though my name appears in the search results, when I click on the link the name isn't on the xml page from the above url.

I'm not sure how xml sites work but wondered if anyone knows why my name is appearing in the google search results when it's not one the xml web page?

If you can't actually view your name on that given link, the results shown by Google might be from their cache. They may remove it in their next crawl of that page.
