Table look with content centered
Hi there, I've worked with web design on and off as a hobby for about a year now. I can't seem to figure out how to make my page look like this =
http://i50.tinypic.com/28u46ft.png This was done in excel, and I want it to look just like that - with the grid look in the background. Any pointers or solutions would be much appreciated. Thank y'all! |
Well for starters i would take a look at some tutorials and understand how HTML and CSS works.
Here are a few links http://www.htmldog.com/guides/cssbeginner/ http://www.w3.org/Style/Examples/011/firstcss.en.html http://css-tricks.com/video-screenca...e-very-basics/ OR im sure you can google something. Then create your background in photoshop - You can simply create a repeatable background in photoshop to duplicate this "excel table look" Then really all you need to do is create a div, center it horizontally, and add your text in the appropriate place. I mean, you really just need to know the basics of HTML and CSS to be able to get this site off the ground - but no one is going to create the site from scratch for you, generally this site is to help with problems for existing sites or sites in current development. |
