FF vs. IE window resizable
Hi, last i heard that FF does not recognize the resizable attribute for window open method. So the result is that IE opens my chat box perfect size and FF opens the window the same size as the other windows and then the user has to drag the chat box over to make it smaller.
Am i wrong on this or has there since been a work around or fix for this. Thanks so much. |
sorry im tired, if you could please move this to javascript area, so very sorry about posting it here i was not paying attention.
thanks |
I don't think this was ever true. I have never had a problem with this. Just try this in FF:
Code:
<!DOCTYPE html> |
Yep it was me, i guess im getting old and my eyes are playing tricks on me, when i posted this function awhile back i distinctly remember checking every bit of it to make sure it was perfect so that i would never have to come back to it.
And sure enough when i saw your example and it looked alot like mine in principle i decided to go take a look, and sure enough i missed a freaken comma in the attributes right after resizable, grrrrrrrr lol Here is what have now after the correction. Code:
But the load size was the issue i was most concerned about i just find the other part interesting. Thanks so much, my foot tastes horrible by the way lol.... :) |
I thought you wanted a resizable window. My bad. Sorry, your right, firefox will not remove the resize tab. I have spent some time on the FF site, but have not come up with any work around.
