How can I format my Windows hard drive?
I have just bought new laptop and desktop computers from Dell. As seems to be the practice these days, they do not provide an actual DVD, just a back up of the Windows program on the second hard drive.
I have been unable to restore the system provided (after a crash) and when I try to use my existing Windows 7 DVD, I get a message telling me that there is insufficient disk space available, so I need to clean the disk by re-formatting it and starting again.
How do I do this? The built in formatting facility will not let me format driveC?
