I am doing research for potentially hiring developer

Hello,

I have an idea for a web based business that I have been researching for a while. I am at the point where I need to find out if I need one or two developers or a team since this is a fairly large project.

I need to begin to figure the finances for this project. Basically I am looking for advice. I have no idea how much this will cost. Should I hire a large development firm or a couple of good freelancers?

If anyone can give me some insight into costs I would appreciate it.

In a nutshell, where should I go from here?

Definetely you need advice from person experienced in such projects. This is the best way. Can ask me, btw

I recommend you go out and seek the advice of a developer in this manner. If you say this is a large project, you may want to consider going to a development firm since they are best at large projects. But there are freelancers who can also do the same. So if you are going for a low budget, you can check on some freelancers at odesk, staff.com or elance. It won't harm inquiring, anyway.
