Webcam interaction script
 

Hello everyone.

I am attempting to make a flash file that can detect when 2 things line up on a webcam. So to try and explain it better, I want to point my webcam at a simple beam scale. As I add weight, I want it to recognize when the beam pointer lines up with the black mark to mean that its leveled.

So far I found a script that accesses your webcam and displays it. Now I need to find a script that can use that information to detect when its leveled.

Can someone point me to a tutorial or script for something like this?

Or maybe recommend another simpler way.
