getting upside down question Mark when pasting data with dash " - "
Hi guys ,
i have a CF form and i have a CLOB field where i have to paste some text in there. everything works fine except that when i load the data i fugured out that some special characters pasted there are converted into upside down question marks. Any help on that ? thank you |
Are you setting the charset?
|
Yes utf-8 set in the webpage header.
Or is there another way to set that differently ? Thanks |
If you access the data directly, are the upside-down question marks in there? If so, there's your issue; if not, then it's the browser that's doing it.
