Wordpress redirect all of subfolder to root
I have redirected the website from a subfolder to the root. My reason for doing this is that it's much neater when all the files are together in their own folder.
I used this link Now the problem I'm having is that all the pages are still under the subfolder instead of under the root (for e.g. http://www.rootdomain.com/wordpress/sample). I would like it to be http://www.rootdomain.com/sample. Is there a way to change this? I've noticed I can also still access the website through the subdomain (www.rootdomain.com.au/wordpress). I hear this is bad for SEO purposes. Is there a way to disable this? I also came across another problem with the documentation, for some reason my website no longer seemed to have a stylesheet. I appreciate any help! |
Have you done the steps given under Pointing your home site's URL to a subdirectory ?
