How to start to create a mobile verions for our our website
 

Hi masters,
We are planning to create a mobile version of our free online directory: http://www.oceanstown.com.
Do we need a different css and design?
How do we know the users machine specification?
Do we need to apply design with some API from smart phone or iPhone system suppliers?

Do we need to create a APP for users to download? Which one will easy to design? (Because of our mobile user feedback, we are serious thinking about this issue...)

You should DEFINITELY Google "responsive web design." This will teach you to design a site for any screen size or resolution, from wide screen to mobile screen.
