replacing apache with nginx
 

I am using apache server with php.
I want to replace it with nginx.

Can anyone tell me the procedure for this (regarding configuration setup) and pros/cons for this.

Are all the php extensions compatible with nginx.
if no, then how can we make them compatible with nginx
