GalleryCMS
Does anyone have any experience with this? I've managed to get it installed onto my site, so I can login and upload photos, but I can't manage to get the actual gallery embedded on my page.
It seems to output an XML file and there's Javascript with the zip file it all came with, but I've no idea how to get it onto my page. The site in question can be found here. Ignore the rotating image, I want to replace this with the GalleryCMS gallery. Any help would be greatly appreciated, it's driving me nuts! |
www.gallerycms.com - 70 views and noone's able to help? :(

The instructions are quite incomplete. I went through the same pains, and then realized that gallerycms does not have a "front-end" program" to aactually read the xml and display the gallery. Once you get the gallerycms installed, database all set up, and code editted, etc, you then have tp install PureGallery (found on the gallerycms homepage). Install PureGallery, then in the index.html on your site,(on the var flashvars line.... about line 9) point your path to your xml file (ex...... var flashvars = { dataPath: "index.php/view/xml" } ). Should do it. Good luck! Hope this helps.
