Max width for Page ?????

Hi,

What would be the Maximum width for a Table (or page) that would fit in ALL (modern) browsers, without having to scrioll Left or Right. If the Body Margin is set to 0 (zero).

Would this be in pixels 760, 770 or can it be 780.
I am using IE5.5 and there it is 780 if Body-Left-Margin is set to zero.

Thanks and Regards,
Sanuk

Errr... 100%? No, seriously, this depends not only on the resolution, but also on the browser used, its version, the platform it's running on, whether the user is viewing your page in a fullsize window anyway, etc.
This article:
Sizing up the browsers
has some info on the subject, but it is by no means an exact science.

Good info

Hi,
Thanks for the Good Info.
I can not use "100%", as I am trying to exactly position some layers and pictures inside the Page.

I suppose I will go for a fixed width of 760 or 770 pixels.

Thanks and regards,
Sanuk
