    Detection of various plug-ins.

I've been trying to figure out how to accomplish this for a while. After checking out a Flash detection script at PPK's website that utilized JavaScript and VBScript, I read through some documentation on MSDN and figured out how to do it all in JavaScript/JScript, so that I could keep it all in a single JavaScript library.

After I figured that out, I went nuts and made all of my plug-in detection scripts cross-platform. This page has detection scripts for JavaScript version, Acrobat, Flash, QuickTime, Shockwave, Windows Media, Java, and MSXML. I'd hope that these would help out someone else.
