    Synchronize Multiple db's ??

Is it possible to simultaneously connect to multiple MySQL db's (identical structure) on separate servers, and then query across them to compare data and insert / update etc. on basis of timestamp column in all tables?

    Something like

    UPDATE db1,db2
    SET*db1 = *db2
    WHERE db1.date_modified > db2.date_modified

u could have seperate queries to access the seperate database and cross referrance them to change the values in your db. as far as i know u can only connect to 1 db at a time, but i'm sure there are other ways that 1 of the other geeks would know about. LOL
