    Bulk Email

    Hey...

When I send a newsletter out to all my members via my server and mail() function, it tends to send it to everyones Bulk Mail Folder - which no one ever reads as they assume it's all spam.

Are there any tricks of the trade that can help in having it directed to the Inbox?

    Thanks.

While there are in code methods I always ask the users to add my e-mail (or the e-mail used to send out the nesletter) to their safe lists to ensure they receive the newsletter.

As well, plain text message work better than the html, however if you do use html make sure you actually type stuff instead of just having images. I know one of my spam filters rates html message by how much text is in it as compared to images.

Any suggestions as to what should and shouldn't be in the subject?
