Look what it says in the manual:

"You have to compile PHP with the option --with-oracle[=DIR], where DIR defaults to your environment variable ORACLE_HOME."

You may have more luck with the newer OCI functions but regardless you will have to set some environment variables (or alter the path on win32) to get php/oracle working together ... see the manual notes at http://php.net/manual/en/ref.oci8.php
    resistance is...

MVC is the current buzz in web application architectures. It comes from event-driven desktop application design and doesn't fit into web application design very well. But luckily nobody really knows what MVC means, so we can call our presentation layer separation mechanism MVC and move on. (Rasmus Lerdorf)

    Hello

I have the same problem. How do you resolve it?
Where do you changed the environment variables? What file?
How do you change it? Can you be more specific?

    Thanks, Demirsha

To my knowledge, this is only necessary if you want a module to be part of the PHP code.

It does not prevent you from using the dll/so version.
