    Apache Rewrite rule problem

    Hi,
I know it's not a PHP problem, but I can't find the right forum to post it, and my app is in PHP.

I have this rules in the root .htaccess:
    Code:
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /

    RewriteRule index.php - [L]
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?aurl=$1
And I want to create a directory with another application but I want to avoid this rule for this directory.

    Any idea?

They usually go in the Other server side languages/ issues forum.

So you want the RewriteRule to ignore the a directory with your application in it?
    Code:
    RewriteEngine On

    RewriteRule ^the-directory(/.*)$ - [L]
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /index.php?aurl=$1 [L]
Just change "the-directory" to the directory with your application in it.
