    I am looking to implement a rating script into my site... I have all the code I need just need someone to help me out here...

    u can go here for the code... http://www.phpfreaks.com/tutorials/9/0.php

    Could someone tell me what PHP files I would make for these and what would I add to my database... I want to implimentt it into the download script I already have to rate videos and pictures. I just dont knwo what I should do..

    Since my files in my database are already set by $id should i change $tut_id to $id so it will add the ratiing to the links on my server?

    I think the problem here is that you're trying to use a tutorial as a copy and paste script. Tutorials usually demonstrate the simplest case of some functionality, so you can read through and understand how it works. When you understand how it works you can implement it in any situation where it's contextually valid, but less by running search and replace on the variables and more by having some idea what's going on. Just read through it and think about how it connects to what you have already. Try to add it in in the smallest possible parts, checking at each stage that you didn't break anything.

    Thats why you read tutorials. They explain things to you. When you copy and paste things, or just have others fix it and whatnot, you never learn.
    "$question = ( to() ) ? be() : ~be();"
