    If you just want to make zip files available for download from the server, just zip them on your PC and upload them to the server. If that isn't what you're trying to do, maybe you should explain further why you're asking such a question.

    Thanks for answer,

    I installed a set of scripts (OCS-NG) and the latest version needs ZIP capability. I suppose to ZIP datas or so....
    So my need is that PHP scripts must ZIP and/or UNZIP datas ..

    When i launch the script, it says that ZIP module is needed.

    I hope it is precise enough...

    It is possible to create zipfiles on the server without the zip extensions - ultimately it's just binary data in a file. Check this - http://www.planet-source-code.com/vb...d=957&lngWId=8

    You could also get a program that can zip via the command line and then use exec(). http://us3.php.net/exec

    Both of them use zlib though.
    I'm not sure if this was any help, but I hope it didn't make you stupider.

    What I posted doesn't - no extra libraries ar required to use it.

    Install the ZIP module? Download it from PECL, put it in your modules directory, and add a line in php.ini.
    "$question = ( to() ) ? be() : ~be();"

    I just might add that zlib should be (WINDOWS) enabled by default. The zip module can only read zip files.
