    Curious mail() problem

    One of our clients wants a survey that requires an email invitation for them to recieve it.
    There are some issues with the mail() function. The client does not receive any of the email invitations when they try to register with their internal email addresses (same domain as the hosted domain)

    The other issue is that the emails go into the bulk mail when sent from their domain. They have another domain that they use for a kind of 'sub site', all the emails from that domain come through to inbox fine using the exact same script. Both sites have webfusion hosting, although one is hosted on 'rasberry' and the other is on 'mecury'.

    Very peculiar.

    I just dont even know what to try, the emails are getting through everywhere except the client. I'd really like them not to go into bulk mail but I dont think theres anything I can do about it, seems to be server related rather than the script.

    I've not managed to solve the bulk mail issue but I have discovered why the emails are failing to reach the client.
    It appears that their mail server they use for their emails is not the same as their domain mail server. When trying to send emails to their email address from a script on their server it isnt attempting to 'send out' so to speak. So all the emails were dumped in a catch all on their hosts email server.
