    i would liek clicking a link to change a variable

    i think this is something like mypage.php?variablename=newvalue

    but this dosnt work, how do I do it

    say your variable name that you want to change is $var. you could use

    <a href="page.php?val=newvalue">click me<a/>

    and then on page.php you need to assign the value to a variable. i.e

    PHP Code:
    $var $_GET['val'];
